Motorcycle jack brands

I recently found a Big Red motorcycle jack on line for $85. I have seen the ones from Harbor Freight and others. Does anyone have any feedback on this brand?? Also, since I have a centerstand on my '99 I/S am I just wasting my money or would this actually be a decent deal? I have seen the jack adapters and I think they mount where my centerstand is. Any opinions???

Walt I have a Harbor Freight one and I like it. I think I found on sale for about that price. I have a jack adapter that is for a centerstand.

I thought you had to remove the centerstand?

Heres the Ebay link. It goes right on the centerstand. It can be installed or removed with one bolt in about 3 minutes.

Thanks Hoghead. I may go that way and then buy the jack. I will try to make that wrench party out that way. I'm trying to get all the things together I will need to go Darkside. If I can't get the cash up and parts up by then, I will have to wait till the next party. Thanks again.

The Valk is a heavy bike and I now have a Dunwell Bike lift. Sadly they're no longer made. Last fall I came by a Craftsman heavy duty bike lift. It retails for $199 and has an aluminum frame. It was the strongest and stiffest frame lift I've ever used besides my Dunwell. The owner of the Craftsman got it on black Fri for 50% off. $100 for a great lift.

I have had a Harley Davidson lift for several years and used it on my last bike (Yamaha Road Star)
It worked great. The Road Star only weighs 60 - 80 less lbs that my Valk.
The HD lift was a freebie to me but they sell new for about $369. It has a load rating of 1100 lbs max.
Would not recommend only because of cost.
