I have been negotiating with Rivco to produce these again. I am very close to closing the deal, within 10 days or so. I do not know what the final cost will be. The more I have made the better the price will be. With this in mind I will make this one time offer to all VRCC Members till Friday June 10. If you commit to one of the RIVCO KICKSTAND PADS, I will sell them to you for $57 each shipping included. I will need a $27 deposit through paypal or credit card. I will set up a link on the front page of my web site for you to go too and make your order, or you can use this link here.

I realize this is a special "run", but that's at least twice what I paid for mine at Wing Ding and I'm not sure it's worth what I paid. Just sayin'.

Well I would guess since it about triples the footprint of the kickstand contact area, it just may keep a few kickstands from sinking into hot asphalt and bikes going over. worth it ?   cooldude  YEP!!

I've heard of that happening but never experienced it. Maybe that's because I have one of the "bigfeet"  Wink

does it add any height so the bike won't lean as much? I keep a piece of 2x4 under it now.

For those of you who might not have been around back in the day when Rivco made the kickstand pads, the picture below is what they looked like.  This one is for a VTX, but the concept is the same.  It adds a bit of height so the bike won't lean as far on the sidestand, and it keeps the stand from sinking in hot asphalt.

I had picked one up for a 2000 Tourer I bought back in 2003. It ran $31.60 from HDL then.

The Tourer had a serious lean I attributed to the Progressive front springs and Prog rear shocks. I personally thought it was a fugly addition but definitely functional to assist with the lean. Not a significant change but it helped.

I do recall having to bang it on with a 2x4 block  and hammer for proper fitment. No worries of it falling off for sure but I used the locking screw just the same.
