Hey all,
Just want to say we had a wonderful time this weekend despite the dust and wind.  Good friends make up for bad weather.  Thanks to all who came and a BIG thank you for your generous donations to the food pantry.  After paying for the food we wound up with $525 for the pantry.  That is just awesome.  We can always count on you guys!  Take care and hope to see you all again soon.

I don't think there was anywhere we could have gone and had "good" weather, so I'll take what we had.  What's a little sand in your eyes, mouth, nose, and food?

It could have been worse, when we rode past the stockyards on 287, the stiff south wind was blowing powdered manure everywhere!  Nasty stuff!  Surely helped me appreciate just plain wind after that

Thanks to all who made it happen.  So sweet to see old friends again.

I personally got in 1,780 miles for the long weekend.  Wind was a nuisance and it sure played hobb with my gas mileage, but all is well.

Home safely.  New rear brake pads (thanks DDT and Wizard), new water pump ordered and ideas working in brain to repair the nickle sized hole that 'appeared' on the top of my right radiator pod.  (Hmm, maybe the aliens tried to 'zap' me when we rode through Roswell.)

Dunno where I will be next year but with luck I will make it.

The parts for the scooter just came in today.
So I know what is on the agenda for tomorrow.

Do you know how much fun it was to go to a job interview in a cast?

Ida rather have been in Tucumcari, KnowWhatIMean?

Once again, enjoyed the folks and look forward to next year. Got my room reserved for 2012. Ride home to Ault, CO via Cortez, CO was "wonderful!" 1,854 very enjoyable miles this year. See you @ Inzane.  cooldude
