2000 Valkyrie Interstate

Hello Fellow Riders!

I'm back after a two year absence without a bike.  Now, I'm the proud owner of a 2000 Interstate.  Does anyone have experience with a good dolly for the Interstate?  I need to move my bike around in a restricted space and the dolly needs to take into account the wheelbase of the Interstate.  Does the dolly from Harbor Freight work?  Here's the link: http://www.harborfreight.com/low-profile-motorcycle-dolly-95896.html.

Thanks in advance!

Another member, 98T (Lothar), has that HF Dolly...  The Valk 'just fits', and he likes it alot  cooldude

He has pictures, so maybe he will see this, and post a few.

I like the dolly a lot.. bought another one for my son's Shadow.  Pretty easy to move around on a clean, smooth floor.  The Valk just barely fits.. you have to leave out the front stopping pin and when you crank up the little wedge ramps at each end they just squeak against the tires.  If you had a car tire on back or the front raked out, I don't think a Valk would fit. It really makes storage easy.. after you roll up on to the dolly, you can push it in tight against someplace.  It made so much room that I can get a third and maybe even a fourth bike in garage in that stall (if I had the money  ???)   Well worth the $59  IMHO.

Yes, but will it handle the Interstate's wheelbase?  I can't find the specs on the dolly that would tell me either way.

Thrud,

I just measured -  there is 78" of usable space in that track the wheels sit in... The road contact points on the bottom of the tires are less distance than that, but with the circumference of the tire, it still uses all of the dolly.  I would guess the Interstate has the exact same wheelbase as my Tourer...

Wheel base on the CT and the CF are both 66.5". I would think the std would be the same then.
