When you forget something. Today I was on the bike heading to work. I usually take things outta my truck and put them on the bike for work. Heading in today a tad early so I can stop for a pop. I see work and then realize my left side is light. Crap, forgot my gun!  Shocked Flipped a b!tch and head all the way back home to get it. Grap it and fly to work with 5 min to spare. Usually I dont forget it but did today. I dont turn back often but since I carry so much i felt nekkid without it.  Embarrassed

every single time my wife and i seem to go anywhere we get about a block away, then turn around to get something we've forgotten.  one time we were flying out of chicago to visit my parents in phoenix when we got 60 miles down the road when we realized we didn't have THE AIRLINE TICKETS!!!   Cheesy

Have to turn around for my DOD card.....can't get on base without it.  That, and the tool box keys.  Everything else can wait.

most of my issues are that when i get in the vehicle and back out of the garage, i am already thinking of work. uglystupid2 so most of my turn arounds are to make sure i closed the garage door. most of my neighbors feel i went for milk, and the ones a block over think i work south of here and not north.  2funny crazy2

Most often I go back to get my purse, or at least my wallet that had been left in my purse.   Second would be sunglasses or "night riders", third would be rain gear or jacket.

Every Patriotic holiday people put the American flags in their car windows mounted by those plastic poles . Then it gets hot and they roll the window down a little and she's on the road. I always stop and rescue those flags, everytime I see one as long as ist not a threat to my life. There was one in the center divide if the freeway and the wife and I went back for it. The cool part was when we got it and were blasting off. There was a pick-up in the #2 lane and he was close but didnt pass. When we got off the freeway he pulled up next to us and asked "What kinda bike is that"? Then I showed him the nickle trick and easily had a convert.
I also turn around to see if theyres a car in the other lane. LOL

I will only turn back if I have forgot my Wallet or cell phone. I can call for anything else I forgot, or buy another one.

a normal ride for me is 3,000 miles at a time, about 4 times a year. i spend a week packing and unpacking, by the time i leave about the only thing i would turn around for would be my DOD i.d. or if i forgot my wallet with credit cards and cash. heck i can buy anything i forgot.

I'm very goal oriented.  I only turn around when I've reached my destination or have determined I cannot.

+1 on turning around to check the Garage door being closed. Sad

Also, returned in the past for the wife's purse, the camera when going on vacation, and my cell phone.
