Anyone that has used both of these what was your opinion? Air deflection? Turbulance? Additional deflectors needed for the pods or baker wing? Thx

Pods are mostly for looks.  They're highly ineffective at moving air.

Lose the screen and you'll stop worrying about air flow.

You need to be more specific.  Do you have an I/S and need to know about Pod deflectors vs. Baker Airwings?  Or do you have a Std or Tourer and wondering about adding pods or Bakers?  What is it?

On my I/S I have Bakers and Hondaline Pod Deflectors and Hondaline Fork Deflectors.  Perfect combination and I wouldn't be without either.  I added fully functional I/S Pods to my Std along with the pod deflectors.  Couldn't put Bakers on that set up because of the fairing I put on.  Also fork deflectors on the Std.  Again, Big improvement.  Highly effective at air management, either cold weather or hot.  Oh, and no turbulence.

In this picture, I hadn't installed the pod deflectors yet.

Should be able to see the both sets of air deflectors.

I had Bakers on both my Tourer and I/S.  Much more effective than the pods.  The two part set up on the Tourer Bakers also allows for rain deflection off the legs, and when set to open, does a good job of reducing head buffeting by pushing up more air in behind the W/S.

I have a standard and like the looks of the pods and the ideal of having additional lights in the pods. But I don't want to lose the air flow metering/control. With a windshield it's nice to direct air up behind it to help with helmet cooling/body cooling.
