Holy crap!  $95.00 for a u joint from the stealer, talk about taking it in the rear.

Is this the price for everyone?  Or was I robbed?

If you already got the u-joint consider yourself lucky.

And that's not a bad price besides!

He is really lucky as I'm still waiting for mine. The bike's been down since April and I know of people who've been down since November waiting. I've been told should have one by the 19th we'll see?

Dealercostparts.com is cheaper, but if you just need the universal joint you'll pay 20.00 for shipping, at least that's how they want to ship to Delaware.
HDL will charge 7.50 fir handling so they are still about 8 bucks cheaper. Plus if you can wait for a 10% off sale they are 14 bucks cheaper.

Hmm? I have bought a lot of ATV, Snowmobile and bike parts from them. Never had any problem in the past. I haven't bought any thing in a while, maybe they have changed?

Any additional news out there in Valkyrie land about u-joints arriving time at the vendors?  How many of you folks have received them this week?

Thanks

thanks, great find.  cooldude
I guess slow economy, they need the sales, might be time to stock up on a few items.

HDL says "Honda is currently listing 6/19 as the date they are currently listing
for expected release."  I'll believe it when I see it... Undecided

I haven't done it yet, but looking at the requirements of being a dealer is met simply by registering to buy any of their products....not a bad deal for us.

Does anyone have any additional news about the release of the U-Joints other than the date of July 14th? i was curious as to the delay this time around? So if any of you knows the history/reason please speak up. My bike has been out of commission since the end of April waiting.

Thanks,

the sad part is....they keep having some serious problems at every turn of the way.  as jeff k said:  we can believe it when we see it......it's sad to think that the u-joint availability would be the straw that broke the camels back with our valks.  by the way jeff.....did you finally get your trees installed?, and how are they doing?
