I bought a another Valkyrie, a 98 standard, the owner before me made it a single seat. I'm putting it back to a two seat and ordered everything from cheapcycleparts.com except pillion step. they are on back order and they don't know how long.

Does anyone have a spare set i could buy off them? Thank in advance.

Is it just the brackets you need or the entire R and L step assemblies?

Can you send a pic of what you want?  I may be able to help.  Are you talking about a pair of rear foot pegs?    hoser

Well I bought the rusted Pillion steps off ebay, got them sand blasted, used filler primer (4 coats) got them nice and smooth, two cotes of paint. Put them on my 98 standard and the are 1 1/2 in longer then the ones on my 99 standard.

They are for an interstate and they are different then a standard.

Well back in the same boat looking for the right Pillion steps for a 98 standard.

Actually all you need is the bracket for the standard (BRKT, PILLION STEP
50680-MZ0-000 ) #11 in the drawing, the actual step itself is the same on all models.  The bracket is what is longer on the Interstate passenger footrest setup.  You could always cut/drill and tap the longer ones.  I have ONE of the short ones.

No number 11 Pillion Steps for an interstate is 3 3/8 in long and 2 1/8 in long for the standard. They also have different part numbers.

There is a site cheapcycleparts.com  that has all the micro fiche for all the parts. if you ever have questions about what is different on the different models. It is a good resource.

The part number I listed IS the number for the Standard pillion footrest bracket.

The only part number different is #11 the actual pegs are the same from model to model. (I didn't even mention #9)

Just trying to prevent you from buying a complete set again when all you need is #11 for your standard.

I didn't say anything about the peg. I know I need the pillion step. I don't use the stock pegs. I have floor boards on both of my Valkyries. They just came with the pillion step on ebay.

Sorry for the misunderstanding,,,,  do you have the means to cut the longer ones down to correct length?  then you could drill them and tap the threads to mount,  Just a thought.  As I stated before ,, I have one of the brackets #11 in the drawing that is for the standard pillion step mount, if you have no luck with a pair but can get the second one my single is available.  Trying to help not trying be a pain in the backside.  The mention of #9 appears to have been removed.

no problem, thought you were messing with me at first. That one of the downfalls to electronic communication, things are easily misinterpreted. I must have misread about the #9 on my iphone, so I removed. I don't know if my old man still has access to a mill or not (he's retired works part time). Would like to find the correct parts if possible. But could work with the ones I have if it comes to that.  Thanks for the offer I'll take you up on it if someone else only has one.

Just a heads up (if determined that you need the one I have),>>>  I am embarking on a ride to Florida on July 1st and won't be back until July 17th.  During those times I won't be able to ship anything.  Hope you can find a pair or at least one more.
