Finally got a answer from my boss that I will not have to work this weekend so the ride is a G0  for me  cooldude  .Hope we don't have a rash of folk's catchin' viginiaitis cause they have been watching the weather channel it's summer time and hit and miss thunderstorm's happen every year always have always will. The motel took our word we could fill it up they took your word when you called and made reservations that you would be there without asking for credit card information.Looking forward to it that part of West Virginia is beautiful with awesome scenic veiws.I'll see y'all there  cooldude

I'm meeting up with Skinhead and the Rogue Riders from Michigan at 8:30am Friday for breakfast just down the road here in Monongahela (southwestern) PA.  Then I guess we are meeting up with the Maryland bunch somewhere around Cumberland and taking the scenic route towards Franklin.  I'm sure the route will depend on the severity of the weather, but they say we should be there by dark.

    Glad you are going to make the ride Joe, Always good to share some wind with you. Candy girl and I have to work Friday but will be there before dark thirty , only a couple of hours for us to get there .
   Hoping we don't need any of it ,but remember I have a bike trailer , tire changer , lift, and a few tools if any of your bunch runs into those pesky road gremlins. May even scrape up a tire or two that still has a few miles left in them.

I was in Decatur ,Alabama this morning just off ALT 72 on Red Hat Rd. we had some major tornado damage in the Industral Park from the April tornado's.Y'all ride safe Charlyne I'm looking forward to seeing you and Mark again.

The wife and I will be there late Friday afternoon.  This will be our first Valkyrie event, and we are looking forward to meeting some new friends.  Unfortunately we will be riding the Goldwing.  The wife is not used to the Valkyrie Interstate yet for longer rides and it's in the shop getting some maintenance done (I will have to explain later).  We may be the only ones on a Goldwing.  I'm looking forward to seeing lots of different Valkyries.  We"re staying at the Star Hotel.  See you on Friday.

Wish I could have been rolling out this morning as planned buddy - but life, ya know.  Thought I would be leaving out Saturday for bawanaland, but that doesn't look like it is going to happen, but the daughter is still having surgery tomorrow.
