These are my new 5 inch pipes with 5 inch welded chambered Flowmaster type mufflers as part of the pipe.  The are coated with Techline Coatings "Silgen Satin Black" Exhaust coating.  And of course topped off by a custom set of 5 inch Grumpys tips. Also some custom flames BFM = Bigger Faster Meaner,   Sounds like a V8 Camaro at idle, really roars when hammered and have no drown at highway speeds.  Surprisingly they are quieter than my cut drilled and baffles removed stock ones at steady highway speeds.

The highway bars are also my design after i slid down the highway on the old ones and ground them nearly all the way thru.

I like the look  cooldude  However those would'nt last long around here. If you go into a down hill decent curve they are going to hit....I've saw 38" stacks mashed on the ends from down hill curves.Seems the 36" are tucked close enough to the bike not to hit the pavement....Good luck and stay away from downhill curves .

10-04 on what Joe says.

My original pipes stuck out the back like that.

They hit the curb when I backed in if not careful,
pull out of a gas staion onto the highway and drag.

Pull into a driveway and if not careful it would really clatter and clammer.

Other than that, they look very nice.

On the other hand, they look awsome! And I'd love to have drawings of the crash guards.

Love the pipes  cooldude  You have chosen a 'theme' and done it right  Wink

However...  The 'Crash Bar' looks like what Daryl, of XF6, has been making for a few years  Undecided

I like the look, it is nice to see someone thinking outside the box.

I have said it before, as these bikes age and get to the point where they need a face lift, we will see more and more custom Valks.

I have 38's and no problems at all.

Although Gordon did see a few small scratches when we were adjusting the Mark-T's.

But nothing substantial.

Those look awesome Bear! Great look on the bags too. Is that your handy work as well? I've got Mark T's 4" on my IS and have been thinking about Bills tips for them. They really finish the look real nice. Think I'll go ahead and order me a set. How's ya get the pods to stay in place?

Very nice looking , build my own exhaust 4" truck  stacks and a 6 inch glass pack, and yes the sound is awesome. You did great job, keep up the good work ,and let us see more pictures of the next add-on. One thing I do like about the set that I built myself is that I can change the glass pack from a 6 inch to a 12 inch, I made a rod that slipped down the center and unscrews the glass pack and I can screw in the longer glass pack for a quieter ride on long trips. cooldude

I'd like to see more pics of this bike. The first thing that sets it off is the leather on the bags, side covers and pod fronts. Has to be the only Valk I've seen with this type of treatment. Well thought out and executed.

I have been up and down a few twisty roads here in the Rockies.  I have yet to scrap them except pulling out of my driveway/off the curb too fast.  I will say that after seeing some of Smokin Joes pics. I have never ride my valk anywhere close to the aggressiveness he achieves on his mount.  You da man Smokin Joe.

I cut and left the upper part of the crashbar bolted in place to allow the pods to stay attached as designed by honda.
