all the ducks are in a row, the leg work is done and everything is ready...some folks are on the road already, all the bikes are serviced and ready to roll, most will be heading out in the morning....This is Joe's and I's 3rd year for doing these rides, we do them just to get folks together for some fun riding and to meet and make new friends while visiting with old friends, there's nothing better in the motorcycle world then that....I going to missing my old friends that can't make the ride this year and we'll toast a drink to all of you friday nite and maybe saturday too....

For those of you that never made one of these rides maybe next year... cooldude  We're pulling out in the  morning and will be picking up 6-7 bikes along the way....we hope evreryone has a dry and safe trip to Franklin, the folks in this little sleepy W.Va. town all know we're coming according to the folks at the hotel, they said we have every room in the town booked...the Adventure Riders will be in this area also this weekend about 200 strong (dual sport bike riders) so there will be plenty of traffic out there so be alert...have a safe trip and we'll see you in Franklin.... cooldude

I felt icky all day on Thursday, but I got ready anyhow...

Waddled downstairs at 5am... by 5:30 admitted I wasn't fit to ride 12
hours on back roads to West Virginia... phooey...

So I called the motel, settled with them, and called my room-mate and
gave him the heads up. Then the power went out  Smiley

The rest of y'all - have fun on the most awesome ride ever  cooldude

Get well soon Mike/

I had a similar bout with a bug before I went to Britman Clayton Georgia Memorial Day Ride.

Got up an tried it and I felt better.

It don't always work that way though.

Sorry that you're under the weather Mike.

I can't make this one either (for other reasons).

Anytime that yo'd like to come up here and ride in the mountains give me a shout and come on up.

I am off most every weekend and as always would be glad to share some wind with you.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone, and Mark - I'll work to make it back up there for another ride
like last summer...

I took the whole week off, had a big time working around the house... until Thursday.
