The Avon cobra was looking a bit tired and a long trip planned in a few weeks sooooo good time to try a CT.  General Altimax H 205/60/16.  Splines looked great> dosed them with guard dog moly past after cleaning.  Both ends of drive shaft looked great,, dosed with guard dog moly grease after cleaning.  Pinion cup great also and replace the 3 "O" rings.  Went for a test ride,, not nearly as different as I expected.  But yes, different.

Your shop looks a lot like mine. Good choice, I bet you like it.

Hello

I went Dark about three weeks ago. Since then I rode only about 80 miles mostly on open road, city streets... etc...   Embarrassed Undecided
https://picasaweb.google.com/103917731019176896112/DRAGONFLYEvolves?authkey=Gv1sRgCLKr9dy88LS0owE

Today I went up to the mountains and practiced the twisties for the first time... If one forgets that Darkside is there, in the twisties the bike will want to go straight...  Shocked

So, I learned that leaning your upper body forward and deliberately pushin' on the grips will make those twisties a lot of fun... indeed.  Cheesy  Cheesy

Yes, you have to maintain your counter steering through curves.  As soon as you release the pressure it will want to stand up.

You might want to go spend some time on the Delphi Forum, Riding the Dark Side or on McDarksiders.  Lots of guys riding lots of different bikes on DarkSide tires.

I'm ridin that same tire-right to the h rating. Brought me thru a real toad drowner today. It was coming down like three or four cows pissin on a flat rock. uglystupid2 No issues with the heavy a$$ rain i was in. I have over 3500 miles on mine already and still luvin it. The transition from m/c tire to d/s is-for me anyway-a rather minor change. Course iffin i check out in a flaming death-i am subject to change my outlook somewhat. 2funny You can handle it. Lots of people before us have and lots of people after us wiil also. coolsmiley Enjoy it. And when another m/c rider looks at you and sez it can't possibly work-look em in the eyes and say-ya i know. And leave it right there.   RIDE SAFE.

Cliff rear is at 44 P S I. Metz 880 on the front at 42 P S I. This pressure combination seems to be working rather well for me. Rode thru standing puddles of water yesterday-i felt the slight slow down when you hit water but it NEVER wavered. Rock solid. No feeling what so ever of the tires trying to wash out. Was riding solo on my i/s. Let me put it this way. Getting caught out in the rain now is no where near the adventure that getting caught out in the rain my e-3s was. Hope this helps. RIDE SAFE.
