First off I do want to give Ron ( Wolf1910 ) and special " Thank you " for setting up the lunch on Droop Mountain with the 4-H Club .  Just so y'all will know all the meat was bought and paid for by Ron he also paid for the pavilion . All the money we paid to eat 100% went to the 4-H club. If you see this Ron just know I'm proud to call you friend  cooldude

This ride will go down as one of my favorite the folk's that attended made that possible. The roads in that area are outstanding for motorcycling and the motel was great as well as most know it got loud when the sun went down in the parking lot and not one complaint did I hear from the motel staff or any guests.Don ( Highbinder ) did a wonderful job planning out this ride even with the rain everyone stayed in the group and enjoyed the awesome ride ( it only rained about 45 minutes and we was under several shelter's the biggest part of that time . ) Here's a few shots I took on the ride...

I talked to Don this morning and the chance is good we return to West Virginia in June 2012 . We will pick another location and all new roads as well.I'm pretty sure I heard 57 bikes rode with us and I know several that came to the ride and did'nt go with the group. This guy from Ohio I know did not make the ride  Sad  He did'nt even know it was like that until I showed it to him.

Again thanks everyone that came and made this a ride I'll always remember  cooldude

It sounds like I missed out big time.

I'm glad that everyone had a great time and stayed safe.  cooldude

I really am sorry that I wasn't able to make the ride but sometimes life gets in the way of the things that we really want to do.

Are you are still planning on riding the BRP Labor Day weekend?

What about the Cumberland Gap area for next year?

Where else can you ride in the mountains and in 3 states?

Wolf, "you are da man!".  Seriously, Thank you so much for what you did for the group and the 4-H group!  Not to mention the money you spent and your time and effort!  Let me know if you need a donation to help with your expenses.

Dub's   It was good to meet you , and as far as donation....no need . It seems that if I don't help out kids and those that can use the help ....then I blow my money on wild women and......  Hey wait I think I saw some of those wild "Swinging" women on the swings and slide during the cookout.LOL     Just happy all had fun .

Thanks to all for your efforts. I picked up the tips I needed and so many features I saw on the other bikes. Thanks for the help loading and unloading, I have only trailered 3 times.

Our first "event" in 13 years and more to come.

The total mileage for my trip to Franklin was 1,124 miles and I averaged 36.7 MPG for the entire trip.  And that is taking into consideration that over 400 miles of it was with "The Wild Bunch"!  The Fat Girl rocks!
