Michelin Pilot 3

Has anyone tried the Michelin Pilot 3 motorcycle tires? Seems a lot of Darksiders use the Hydroedge, but what about the bike tires?
Reviews seem pretty good, and they're a bit cheaper than the Metz or Avons...

My son uses them on his GSXR 750 sport bike and gets about 2500 mi out of a set. I think they may wear much quicker on our heavier cruisers.

I run a Michelin Pilot - that is, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus 205/55/16 car tire. Love it.
