This lazy guy was hanging out in my back yard today. He sat up once and I could see a large white patch on his chest. As he lumbered off, he picked up a soccer ball laying in the yard, chomped it, and shook his head......we wont be playing with that soccer ball again!!

Yea so whats the big deal we get them in our yard here in Kansas all the time too (picture below). All ours have the patches on the top of back. They come and eat the dog food. tickedoff

Back to reality, thats cool you have the wildlife like that nearby. We do have 3 deer that have taken up eating in the neigbors yard from time to time. Not bad considering Kansas didn't even have a deer season from like 1920 to 1965.

If he comes back be sure to post more pictures please.

That are just the very bad parts...

The very northern and southern parts are still pretty wide open...

We have a few Bald Eagles, thousands of wild turkey and hundreds of buck tail deer....

Hey Mark, Hope all is well with you and yours. But please keep the bear on your side of the highway. LOL I haven't seen any yet. Although there is a large deposit in my front lawn, so they have been here.

we have had black bear sightings around the town I live for the past few years, but I haven't seen one yet.

My wife did plant more clover in our front yard to continue to attract the deer into the yard. They're fine. We see them as much as we see rabbits..
Saturday morning we looked out and saw a grey fox, a LARGE grey fox, in the front yard. I haven't seen one of those in these parts since I was young so it was nice to see it back again.

In case you were wondering, no, the quick brown fox was not jumping over the lazy brown dog's back any number of times. Actually the fox was not brown or especially quick looking. I think they lied to us in typing class!
