Roade trip to Maggie Valley NC...

We had a gorgeous ride to Maggie Valley.



Yesterday the weather looked bad coming in so we left at 7:00am. to stay ahead of it.



Good thing too, I hear they are getting bad storm up by Lexington and now hitting Knoxville.



It wasn't long and we were in the Smoky's



What a beautiful ride.



Devon was handling things like a pro....



Great time today



You know you meet the strangest people on the road...

oh ya our room is great even has a couple of rocking chairs out front of the rooms and a nightly camp fire. I like it here...

Riding thru the gorge in a great ride, even if it is an interstate!

sherry and i will be riding there the end of July for the VOA thing. We're meeting up with a bunch of Valk folks for the weekend.....then going on to Erwin TN the week of 25 July to scout for the Rune Rally (it's Labor day weekend). ALL that area is some gorgeous riding! We'll do the Blueridge, the Snake, Grandfather Mountain (scouting for the Rune event), etc. Even the interstate is scenic around that area!

you must have gone for that Spyder thing ....I saw several from here were going?

yep Devl's doing the Spyder thing, Hotglue and FB coming in tonight, Devl and I are going to ride up the Blue Ridge when we head home the scenic way (don't know when or where we are going) hope you and Sherry have a good time.
