I think you had posted that you use Google Map and transfer routes to GPS?  How does ya do it?

Is there better stuff out there that I can plan a trip on PC and send to GPS?

Michael K here!
I have used this mapping program because it allows me to upload to my Garmin 450 w/ no sweat! See if it works for you.

That's the one I use on my Zumo 550. After trying about 10 other ways... the Harley Ride Planner worked out the best.

Another resource that can help very well is a program called GPS Babel:

http://www.gpsbabel.org/

it can convert from just about any format into just about any format. I use it to create my routes using something nicer to use like Streets & Trips, then feed it into GPS Babel and it spits it out in the Garmin format...

Oh, and it's free...
