Check the SMTP server setting (Out going server.) on your mail client. (Outlook) It should probably be the same as your incoming mail server.
Additional question. Are you using Outlook, or Outlook Express? Outlook comes with MS Office. Outlook Express is the one that comes with a Windows OS. I've had so much trouble with Outlook Express that I usually install Outlook.

Without knowing the specifics of your email configuration can't tell specifically, but that error generally isn't related to wireless vs. wired.
That's the error an SMTP server is gonna give on outgoing e-mail if the sender hasn't authenticated and/or if the routing is configured to only allow outgoing e-mail to specific destinations.
Look in the configuration of your e-mail client for anything about SMTP, or outgoing mail, or something like that, and see if you can find a "Outgoing mail server requires authentication" and try turning that option on (And filling in the username/password) and see if that helps...
That's just a stab in the dark though without knowing a whole lot more about your specific setup.

As the others ave said this is an outgoing mail server issue.
It is usually caused by the mail server provider requiring you to connect to their web service and as your isp is not them they won't allow you to send mail because it appears to be spam as you are connecting via another isp.
Easy way around this is if you have another email account that works and allows you to send emails out. Use the outgoing smtp server settings for this account with the account that is giving the errors. Leave the incoming mail server settings alone. Unless your email recipient is particularly tech savvy and goes looking your email will still appear to come from the email address that is giving you the relaying message.
