He's home in Florida now. Accident was in February and he's still mending but has huge improvement.
He came home and finally got his other Valk started, but it had hydrolocked. It's in a local dealer now and the price keeps rising, currently $2,900.00 The cause was his original ('97) petcock had finally failed.Letting fuel drain by. He said the carbs were in horrible condition, real crudded up. Also letting fuel drain passed them. Funny thing, it was his strongest healthiest running Valk. Never new it was coming, although it did sit from the time of the accident in February till just a week or so ago. I added up the cost of parts at just under $600.00...Looks like the dealers giving him a good screwing.
