OK we can't seen to get the story so here goes. This dude has been DEAD for 3 days and still on the bike and he wanted to be buried on his Honda. Now that was one loyal man!!

I've always heard "live to ride and ride to live" so he is forever riding now!

Probably ended up dead ‘cause he wasn’t wearing his helmet!!!

(i know, i know, most riders don't, just looks funny having it strapped to the back like that)

That is beyond creepy.  It's almost abuse.

The guy was murdered in Puerto Rico, per news reports.  So the helmet would not have saved him.

No.

In fact I love her too much to do such a creepy thing TO her.

For lack of a 'shudder' smiley, I'll use this one:  crazy2

At least his ballcap wasn't on backwards.

Ah well...last will and all that jazz. Each to his own. The few extra grand this set-up cost the estate, I'd rather see my kids get the money. But that's just old fart me. He may have been a youngster - hard to tell from the 'Night Of The Living dead' pic.

Would scare the heck out of the guy who murdered him to park him outside the murderers house for a while. Grin

Maybe it's the lighting,  I could have sworn he moved and then moved his hand.  I guess I've seen too many horror movies.

Had a friend, almost 40 years ago, who would NOT ride in a car, without serious reason and convincing. Rain or shine, night or day, he'd hop on the bike, heading to ANYwhere, even for a weekend of partying. Just the way he was. Always said he'd be killed in a car. Also told everyone he wanted to be buried with his bike, should he ever be killed on it.

A bunch of our friends went into Mexico, and convinced him, he didn't want to take his bike down there. They were in a car crash, and he was the only one killed!

Even though his family tried to get the bike buried with him, they would not do it. So, his friends took the bike one night, and buried it by itself in the desert. And as far as I know, they never told another soul, where it was buried. I figure I was one of the closest, and if they told ANYone, it would have been me, and they didn't. Figure it's probably still out there someplace...

Now that is ironic, uncanny to say the least!. For what ever reason he had a phobia with cars, there was a reason. From my own life I've learned to listen to that inner voice...gut instinct, God, or what you prefer to call it. When I don't or choose to ignore, I always pay the price!   Smiley

Yeah, it was ironic. It wasn't so much a phobia against cars, and I really never thought he meant it seriously, just a joking type comment. The main reason was that he took his bike everywhere, and he WOULD NOT leave it someplace, no matter what. So, he was always on it.

They were on the way to Tijuana, via Mexicali, when they left the road. They all survived relatively unscathed, except Tim. They had swung by his apt, and picked him up.

Here's a link to the road between Mexicali and Tijuana:

Tijuana to Mexicali

On a side note, about what you said - years ago they had an article in Fine Woodworking magazine, about accidents in the shop. They had asked readers for information, and they combined it all into an article. At the end, they said, what amazed them most, and unexpectedly, was that something like 97 percent VOLUNTEERED the information, that they "knew they shouldn't do" what they did, to cause the accident!! 97%!!! THAT to me, stops me from doing ANYthing, that I think "hmmmm, maybe I shouldn't....".
