Hangin' out here beats a tree on the head any day!

got one this am. i was awoken about 520 or so this am. I wake up...hearing the old headboard just a rattling! then i hear the dogs whining out in the kitchen. then i hear the horses "whinning" out in the pasture. When Sherry wakes up at  530...a few mintues later...i ask her "did you hear all that"? She says nope, i must have been dreaming........

then i get to work and they confirm it....earthquake at 525 am central....just north of us in Centerville. not a big one mind you, only 3.8. I used to live in Southern Cal in the 70s...we had some pretty big ones out there. BUT...it brought back....eh........memories.........   2funny

you started talking about headboard rattlin' and 31 years in back to back posts and my mind went somewhere else.

We had an earthquake here in NC a few years ago, but I couldn't feel it.
Turns out we're on a huge fault line, not as active as CA as regularly, but they say when it ever gets around to doing its thing again that it will be a big deal.
