...BUSHED. I read recently where they're an issue on the Valk (something I didn't know till I saw it here by chance) so today when I pulled her out for a ride I gave it a good looking over and immediately noticed the telltale misalignment of the shock eye with the bolt. I can also see some squeeshed rubber poking out. Totally hosed.  Undecided

I just ordered a set of Gary's bushings. I'll post pics if they come out looking particularly gnarly (and I think they might) because I don't know if they've ever been replaced.

Did you just buy one set or two? (1 set = 2 bushings, one for each side).

The recommendation is to replace only the warn one, which is usually the top. I was going to replace them both (2 sets), and was wondering if the better bushing makes the ride a little firmer or loose?

I ordered two sets. I'll look at the bottoms and if they look good I'll leave em (maybe) but they're only 15 bucks a set so I might just say screw it and replace all 4 at the same time.

I replaced both sets, top and bottom about a month ago, and it was a very noticeable improvement in the corners. That squishy (only way to describe it) feeling in the corners is totally gone, especially when riding 2up

I have been noticing a bit of "inaccuracy" or a tendency to not hold lines in corners as well as It did before. Could very well be that.

I replaced em this morning. Took a 1/2 hour. The lowers didn't look too bad but they were dried out badly so I replaced them. The uppers were TOAST. One (right side) was so worn that the lower portion where it's squeezed between the shock eye and mount was clean through.

I took it for a ride a little while ago. Big improvement. Gary ships quick too.
