I ordered this to mount on my halve breed tourer/interstate. I have XM on it now, but getting tired of losing signal all the time. Anyway will post again once I have it mounted and how it does. If it does good I will be shutting down my XM. Here's a link to the radio I ordered. http://www.jensenmarinedirect.com/jensen-waterproof-am-fm-ipod-sirius-satellite-radio-ready-stereo.htmlDavid Got the radio installed. Works very well. Going to have to order a cable in order to connect it to my ipod. Very easy to upload music on it's 1 gig of memory. I put some on a zip drive and followed the instructions. I mounted mine using my old xm mount. It doesn't come with handle bar mount, but not hard to figure it out. Came with a 10' cord to hook up to the amp. Pretty basic hook up. All labeled very well. Can also add a sirus unit later if needed. Only time will tell how it holds up. This is waterproof. David

Looks like a very nice unit.
Sorry to hear about the trouble with satellite. It's great when it works, but weather and mountains/buildings can play hell with it.

Thats one good system. How about the cable for the remote display, does it come with one, or only the 1' it shows? The manual looks like there is an additional cord, but I didn't find it as part of the listed items. I'm wanting to mount a radio in the IS trunk I've mounted on my Tourer. Ah, I found it, at the bottome there is an acessary tab. http://www.jensenmarinedirect.com/products/accessories.html?p=2I'm still wondering what comes with the stock radio. They have a Y cable and a 19' one, a little too long, but for a boat?

I've been runing XM on my bike for over 4 yrs and I've never had a problem with loosing signal to it. If I'm riding in heavy woods where the trees cover the road sometimes the signal will cut in and out but I can;t blame the XM for that.

It might have been the unit. I used it on both bikes and also in my truck. The XM guy said it could be my antenna placement. Each bike had it own antenna and the truck had it's own antenna. So the antenna wasn't the issue. Like I said it could have been the unit itself. My wife has the stock radio with XM in her Highlander and it drops out from time to time. Not as bad as mine did. Did a ride yesterday and tried it out. Did very well and could hear it very well even at 75 mph. So unless this breaks down I want miss the XM. David

Does very well in the sunlight. It has a blue background. So far I really like it. David
