Rode to work a couple hours before dawn this morning in a light rain. Was on a country road running around 60 when a large black cat blasted out of the woods on the right hand side of the road and right into/under my bike. Just had time to jerk my foot up off the peg as it ran into the peg and on under the back tire. Pretty sure it had to be a cat. It was too fast to be anything except a cat or fox and seemed to dark to be a fox.

Then, 1/2 a mile or so later (and slowed down to 50 or so) a raccoon along the left edge of the road suddenly runs under my bike from the left side. Not sure if the rear tire got it or not. I could have avoided it on a dry road but didn't want to try it in the rain. Could not have avoided the cat under any circumstances.

That's one possum, one bat, one cat and a coon so far this year on the scooter. Sounds like some kind of redneck dinner don't it. Grin

I encountered a Kamikaze duck on the way in this AM.  Luckily he missed me... but not by much.

Over the years, I have had a couple of encounters with birds.  First one, flew under my left arm and into my chest.  Bird guts everywhere.  Second one, heading to Freedom Run, bird flew right into the
primary cover of the Harley.  Mostly feathers on the bike after that one.  My RT buddies had a good laugh once we got to the Freedom Run.

when i first started dating my wife, i hit a deer with my car.  my father-in-law asks me "did you pick it up?"  i didn't know why he'd ask that, but i guess he's done it before!!  he'll gut it out and eat the "undamaged" parts!!  (here's where we need a "gross face")

Ha! Already got eight on my rear fender. Mostly snakes, squirrels and birds. Don't think there are any included for bats or cats though. Guess it doesn't matter what's included since I can no longer find them though.  Sad
