So, I didn't get to see anyone at the meeting last week.  Let's get together and have a wrench party this Saturday.  I've got a few things I need to take care of before the hill country run, and I'm sure you do too.  Come on out, and we'll tackle them together.
Saturday, April 25, 9 AM.
Location: Phyllis' house.  Directions will be provided to you if you need them.

We had four people make it out Saturday between the rains.  I know I got some good work done.  Repaired a vacuum line that was causing some odd noises and other issues.  Changed intake runner o-rings.  Tightened up my shifter lever that was causing me to miss shifts every few shifts.  Found the source of my audio problems and fixed it.  Changed my highway pegs from "short guy" config to "tall guy" config.  Changed my air filter, since I had the tank off anyway.

The most amusing part was when we dug into my fairing, and found that the panels where the speakers are mounted had been insulated (front, back, and side) with what I can only assume is something intended as acoustical material.  Then the removable panels were sealed in with some sort of tacky adhesive.  Odd.
