Someone in this club built a naked Gl1500 Gold Wing a few years ago, to look kinda sorta like a Valkyrie. The only thing I can remember is it was painted blue. Since the 60's were hard on me I am not 100% sure of the color I need some pictures of that bike if anyone has them.

Yup, that is one sharp ex-Gold Wing.

It made it to several CBR's, saw it come together over like 3 years.

Murdoc also has one in process, but I think it is one the very very back burner right now.

Yep, thats Joe's bike. He's from Fairmount Ind-hometown of James Dean. Like RJ said, it came together real nice over the years.

Wow that is definatley different and sharp! Looks like he has a VTX R gas tank and headlight. Now some chrome louvers or fancy radiator cover would look good. cooldude

Yep and with FI like the VTX!   Whether you like the VTX 1800 or  not you have to hand it to Honda to building the 1st twin muscle power cruiser that was called the "Beast from the East"(107hp) that no other V-Twin cruiser in 2002 could come close to! Later on came the Suzy M109, Yam 1900 ,Triumph R3 and on in goes. But even so, there's not that many power cruisers can hang with  Valk or VTX 1800!!!

IMHO, The Ruine ruined it! A cruiser?? Don't think so.. My Idea of the perfect Honda would be a Valkyrie 1800 that looks just like the Std, Tourer,& I/S. Since Joe Boyd died so did that idea!

Honda is going under in my opinion because they don't have selections like the other metrics, Vics, and Hd. Theu just depend on wing and sport bike sales. Let's see, what are the new cruisers? Oh yeah, the 1300 Statesman!

Honda's current lineup is terrible and some of their best bikes they don't bring stateside.

Yep, Honda will go under if they can't keep up with all their competitors! Their little lineup stinks and not all like GWs!

I hate to think (!) that Honda will rely on cars exclusively. The way things are going it may be harder to enjoy the open road without 4 wheels anyway.
