If I install 4 and 1/2 risers on my 99 std, will I have to make any modifications?  Will I have to change my stock cables?  Can I use my existing handlebar cap with the risers?  Sorry to ask such simple questions but for me the answers are not simple.  TIA for your help. Larry

Should be able to use the cap. Did the risers come with caps? No need to buy more cables. I went with longer cables after installing 6" deuce risers. I have the Lemont on my other bike with stock cables.

You'll probably have to re-route the cables or install longer ones if you want to keep them in the original location..

It would be my bet the OE single top clamp will not work with aftermarket risers, they might.

You will need to turn the wire clips on the back of the bars around 180 degrees.

You may have to reroute the throttle cables to inside the triple tree.

Top clamp may work if it is a Honda aftermarket riser.  I moved my Rivco Risers from my VTX to my Valk and the top clamp worked.  I had VTX 1800C Risers on my VTX 1800R and was maxed out on cable length, so I didn't move them over to the Valk but probably could have with some cable rerouting.

I installed this brand (below), and ended up with a hairpin bend at full turn right, after I re-routed the throttle cables behind the right fork. OEM single clamp did fit.
