I need to change the coolant in the Valk.....I bought a gal. of the Prestone 5/150 world silcate-free and as I was getting ready to do the job, I thought I would double check the capacities and it actually calls for. The gallon is 1:1 and if I add a quart of distilled water that 1:1 is now 3:2 water to antfreeze........is that important enough to worry about........

Mornin Rdkll, I'm guessing you brought the premix.  Just drain and replace.

A 3:2 mix will raise the freezing point and lower the boiling point of the coolant.  That mixture would be a 40% solution which has a freezing point of -10 F and a boiling point of 220 F.  A 50% mix has -30 F and 225 F respectively.  Since the freezing point is affected most, you will be fine as long as it doesn't sit outside during a cold PA winter!
