Lookin for info on kuryakyn signal bezels. Thought I saw someone on here with em and really liked the look.
Anyone know if they're direct replacements for the factory orange lens's? If so, where to get?
Thanks for any info, peace DG.

The Kury lenses fit valk signals with the SINGLE mount screw on the bottom.  My '99 IS has them front and back.  If your lenses are mounted with two screws, they are not for you.  They look better than OE, but only show a ring of light to the side, as opposed to the whole side of the lens on OE.  Mine are about five years old and the chrome plastic on the inside of the lens is failing (bubbling) on both sides in the front, I think due to the large number of buggies that commit suicide there.

You can order any Kury parts from HDL; even if it's not on their site (and the lenses are not), they will get it.  You'd have to call for price.  They pretty much give a standard discount on all Kury MSRP prices.

Whiskey, here's what I did and it's inexpensive and effective. Go to Walmart, the toy or model car section, and get a can of Testors model car spray paint. It's #1605 spray enamel, Tranparent Candy Apple Red. Clean the inside of the lens with some alcohol and let dry, then spray a couple coats on the inside of the lens....letting it dry somewhat between coats. Let dry real good before reinstalling. You now have a red lens instead of amber, you'll never know they were once amber. The paint...less than $5.

They'll fit any Standard/Tourer 2000 or newer and any Interstate. Those have the single screw setup mentioned above. I'm surprised more people don't have them since they look so much better than any of the other lenses available for the Valk. I think I paid $35/pair for mine.

Kuryakyn Deep Dish Bezels-Smoke Lenses/Amber Bulbs 2270

Bought a replacement set last week on ebay, free shipping and on my front porch two days after I ordered it.
Get amber bulbs for the front, red for the rear. I think they greatly improve the appearance of the stock turn signals.

+1 on what John Schmidt said...I agree the Kury is the best looking option for the Valkyrie. It just wasn't an option on my bike (mine is not single screw)  I reluctantly used the Testors Candy Apple Red and am very pleased with the results. I also used it on my brake light lens, as this was a clear lens. It's not as good looking as the Kury, but it is a little different than the rest. I also cut off those UGLY reflectors from the license plate to clean it up a little. Then final dress with a pair of Chets Tube Toppers. Real simple and not expensive.

Lucky 13 has them.

Look Great.

Performance sucks.

Can't see his blinkers with a telescope.

Although he has tried alternative bulbs to make them better.

Still ain't good as stock.

But are quiet the lookers.

Hand signals are better anyway.

Use both.

Those of you who have used the paint, do you retain the brightness of lamps? I want to be seen.

Hey Big AL, I've heard the same thing about the performance, that you caint see them very well.
I'm thinking about running this kit with the Kury lens's.  http://www.electricalconnection.com/other-lighting/tsk-star&sport.htm
Made by Electrical Connections here in Knoxville (just over the hill from me). It goes inside the housing around the standard bulb. I think the turns changing from red to amber would be very effective. There's a write up on the install in the tech section here some where, (caint remember who) with great pics.
I'm already running their trailer isolation module and it's a great product. Clean install, compact, working perfectly.
If I can afford to get it all together I'll let y'all know how bright they are.
Thanks everyone, peace DG.

I have the Electrical Connection's kit in mine, and really like them. They blink in such a way that they catch your eye, too.
