Saddly, this is NOT a joke.

Casey says when she gets out, she wants to get pregnate and have another baby.

I guess she's going to take another shot at the "mother of the year award."

She has every right to do so.

The trial is over.  Her 15 minutes of fame is 14 minutes old.  Let's just go forward.

That has to be one of the stupidest Juries in the history of jury duty.

They could have given her several other punishments, other than death.

I guess the little girl did not rate even an abuse charge.

Car that stinks of death, mother out partying, lying her arse off to everyone.

Even the police said she lied and the jury agreed.

WHat a crooked world we live in.

I know next to nothing about this trial, been on the road and only heard snippets of news.
sounds like the prosecutors didn't make the case for murder in the 1st, I would have a hard time sending someone to death row on circumstantial evidence.
I posted a ways back about capital punishment and the cases they made on circumstantial evidence. the state of Illinois had to release 10 people on death row that were falsely convicted, the DNA evidence that was mishandled and in some cases flat out suppresed.  recently they suspended capital punishment. I still feel that way, but they could kill that psycho in tucson tonight and I'd lose no sleep over it. I think she got away with something, maybe even killing her own daughter, I'm sure of it but not sure enough for murder 1. prosecutors should have went for a lesser crime they probably have won.

She has every right to do so.

She does, but maybe she shouldn't. At the least she's guilty of neglect that led to her child's death. I'm not sure those people should be allowed to procreate.

And just because you CAN do something doesn't necessarily mean you SHOULD

Just her involvement in the cover up is enough to satisfy me...I can understand that she did not get 3 death sentences but 1 would have been enough.

Anvil, I don't find myself agreeing with you very often, but you hit the nail on the head with that one.

I believe they did find her guilty of lying.   Smiley
