So, the hsst noise is a vacuum leak. The left side middle cylinder hose has a crack in it. Now I have the tank removed and am going to to remove the airbox to get to the hoses. What should I be looking for so that I don't break anything I can't fix? next, what size hose do I need? I'm thinking get a spool of hose and replace all the lines.

Thanks all,  Raul

You can do it without removing the tank and airbox:

This short tutorial shows some of the techniques I used to change out the hoses by tying a string to each one.  This shows the airbox off, but it can be done without removing it.

Thanks Bobbo. I'll see if I can do it that way. What size is the vent hose? Would it be available at a local Autozone?

5/32 hose was used for this example.  It stays on without needing a clip.  Most auto stores will have it.
