Need new cotter pins for the throttle linkage...

Tried ACE and the smallest cotter pin in stock does not fit...rather not drill out the hole or go to Mother Honda.  Anywhere else to check?

thanks

RedEye provides a card rebuild kit thaT includes these cotter pins- yeah they are tiny!  From his website:
<<The carb link bar gets removed in this job, and the original cotter pins get thrown away. You are not allowed to reuse cotter pins, because they fatigue when rebent. New cotter pins and washers are supplied in this kit. >>

Yes, thanks...should have mentioned I know about them and bought their kit when I cleaned out the carbs several years ago.

But I'd rather not buy the whole kit for two cotter pins...

The search continues...

I suggest you contact RedEye and he may part out a kit for you.

Yep...just waiting on a reply.  I'm buying a couple of other things as well so hopefully he will agree.

Not sure you will find them here, but I'd try a lawn mower repair shop.    They use itty bitty cotter pins on some of these machines.      Worth a try....

Also, do you have a old time hardware store still in business?    We have one and if ya can't find what ya want anywhere else, stop in and they will fix ya right up.

They have saved my boyz several times.    Personally, I don't know how the hell this old boy knows what he has or where it is, but he will walk right to it....

If redeye won't break the kit that is probably what I will end up doing...

It was a pleasure to conduct business with Redeye Tech...

Rich was willing to 'break' the kit and sell me just the Thottle Linkage parts, I also bought several other things to make my life easier.

Also received a *refund* for .34 cents because shipping was less than expected...you don't see that anywhere! cooldude

Yeah SS safety wire will probably work, but might also get stuck in there halfway out and cause problems. +1 on trying small engine shops that service movers and chainsaws and stuff like that.
