Over the years Solo 1 has recommended Rejex whenever someone asked what was the best wax. If I remember right, eventually he got a little perturbed that it didn't seem like anyone was taking his advice, because they kept coming back asking the same question over & over. I am the same way about people asking what the best aluminum & chrome polish to use.....sorry, I'm done recommending the best product for that job. Eveyone else can do there own trial and error. Anyway, back to the Rejex. When I detailed my Valks a few weeks back, I used Rejex for the first time. The first thing I noticed was that any dust that had settled on the bikes blew right off when out for a ride, (it's pretty slickery stuff). It hadn't been too buggy around here until lately. OK, so now I have a few bugs. I take a dry micro fiber towel and they wipe right off. Went for a 160 mile ride this past Monday and picked up quite a few bugs. We have a VRCC monthly ride tomorrow so I head out to the garage to see what to do about the mess on the front of the I/S as that will be my choice for the ride. Most of the bugs came off with the dry towel. For the rest, I used a small damp terry towel and barely wiped over the fairing and it's clean as can be. Followed behind with a dry micro fiber and it's good as new. Before, I would have given the whole bike a bath in the driveway. And that's an hour and a half job...for me. So Thanks Wayne for the recommendation. The mfr. say's it's good for 6 months. That's longer than our riding season so I should be good until next spring. I have a 6 door cupboard in the garage, behind two of those doors...2 shelves, they are packed with different waxes and polishes. I sure wish I had back all the money spent on all those products.

I almost qualify as an elder, I'm semi-retired. Been riding sickles for 45 years.

Rejex is great stuff.... I have used it for several years on bikes and cars. It was originally intended for aircraft and so aircraft supply places have it and people that have motor-homes use it on the front of their coaches/trailers etc. so some of the RV places have it - Woody's in Red Deer had it in the past not sure about now.

Thanks a bunch Steve! I was a little ticked at first but when I realized how much stuff out there claims to be the answer, I can see why everyone has their favorite.
Just recently I made the mistake of having the local Ford dealer detail my new Mazda Three using Rejex. I was very specific to the dealer that after the Mazda was finished, that it should be kept inside until I could drive it back to my apartment garage, a distance of 300 feet. As you know, Rejex requires overnight to 'harden'.
So what did they do? They parked it outside 20 feet from the body shop door where another tech was buffing a car. They called me to say that it was done. When I got there, the Mazda was covered with a light brown powder. SH**!
Most washed off but some didn't. It seems like the REJEX trapped some of the powder in its coating. No, I'm not going back. The dealer offered to redo it but I don't want the car to be buffed as it's new.
The car looks ok and the finish is slick except for a few specks that you can feel. This Fall, I'll have it redone by my favorite detailer. Probably will do a clay clean.
I've never had any luck finding REJEX except online. It is expensive but the smallest bottle will do a lot of motorcycles. In fact, after my last big bottle, and numerous applications I threw the bottle away because it had gone out of date. Maybe buy one bottle and have a REJEX Session combined with a wrenchin' gettogether.
If you try Rejex, consider it a little like fresh paint. Keep the Valk inside overnight and away from dust.
No, i don't work for REJEX, the usual blah, blah, blah.

Thank you Cleaner Man. That was the response I was looking for. I wanted to know if it was available local. I knew I could find it on the internet, but you always have to have a S A response from someone. G.

So, just what IS the best?? I've always been happy with Mother's Mag Polish, but there's some kind of polish at work, that does a MUCH better job, at least it's a LOT quicker, to bring aluminum and stainless up to snuff. Can't remember the name, but comes in a silverish box. I'll have to look. I'm always looking for a better product to try. I'll be looking for Rejex, and might get lucky, since we have Purdue Airport close by. It is known as the "busiest" airport in Indiana, with the most take-off's and landings of ANY in Indiana. But, that's because it has a huge Aviation school, with people flying the circuit, 24 hours a day, it seems.

I just ordered it on line from Rejex.12 oz 24.95 with a 4 oz corrisionx. It says the Corrisionx is good for Guns has anyone used it? Thanks for the suggestion. I use" met all" for the wheels. Works good http://www.met-all.com/pages/949999/index.htm
