Maintenence pre Inzane trip

Busy 2 days, pulled both wheels, and re balanced them. Took the front end down and re torqued the head bearings, real fun on an Interstate. checked all the brake pads. Cleaned and greased the splines and drive line, changed final drive oil. Changed oil and filter. Now she just needs a wash and wax job. Trying to check over every thing before I ride for about 3000 miles this month.

Not completely, taking my wife to Woodstock, GA. she is going to visit her sister for a few weeks. I am trailering my bike and my friends Harley to there. We will be leaving there Sunday morning, should be in Bellaire early Tuesday morning. A little over 900 miles one way. We plan on a little longer trip going home, planning on spending a couple days in the Smokey mountains on the way back.

Hey Bill, I'm jealous. You be sure to watch for those nutjobs coming at you from the side, and before you travel you need to remove that big target painted on the sides.
I won't be making the trip this time, I guess there's always next year...or the next...or the next.....

Sorry to hear you are not making it this year. At least I will have some company this time, Murphy is going with me, seems to make the trip go smoother when there are a couple riders.
