Yesterday, I rode with the Patriot Guard group as part of a 50 state "flag ride."

The flag hand off was done at a Harley dealer's shop across the state.  I sat on a Harley Davison couch with the logo embossed on it.  I drank a coca cola out of a Harley Davison coke machine.  I sat next to people that had on everything Harley Davison imaginable, from caps, shirts, belts and boots.  Every last one in there was dressed like that.

Now I would think that is a cult.

So let the Cult of Valkyrie begin... We will need Valkyrie, floormats, doormats, coasters, coffee mugs, table lamps, clocks...

We will need Valkyrie branded beef jerky, Ford trucks, pontoon boats, coffee, breath mints...

We will need, and must dress head-to-toe in, Valkyrie shirts, boots, jackets, sweatbands, hats, underwear, wallets, purses and even lingerie for the ladies...

Come on fellas... we can do this!  No other "motorcycle cult" has done it before!  coolsmiley

WTF are you talking about? The H-D cult has had that sewn up for years.

RK, the reason why I let the baby have his bottle is simply because I don't wanna be "that guy" that helped f**k up a 300+ bike ride because he had to let testosterone get the better of him. I spent years commuting in and out of Boston. If I'd wanted to show him a wheel and ruin his day I could have. But that's not how I roll. He also had a young passenger (looked like late teens) wearing nothing but a shorts and a spaghetti strap top. I'd guessing she doesn't need the road rash to go with her gonorrhea rash.

Also after I let him pass I noticed something about him. Whenever the group slowed to a crawl he would raise his RIGHT HAND in a fist to signal a stop. I'm like "yeah that great buddy but you might wanna keep that handy for the FRONT BRAKE. Then I noticed that he didn't seem to know what the front brake was because I never saw him touch the damn thing. I do NOT want that guy behind me.  Undecided

I know there’s one other guy here who has stated he “wouldn’t walk across the street to piss on VRCC member who was on fire”

I don't know who you're quoting but,

Britman once posted that he wouldn't piss on me if I was on fire.
I'm sure glad of that! LOL

Somewhat of an oxymoron, don't you think? It's the story about "Throwing elbows at a cicle jerk" that would make the best sellers list.

might not be so far off base, a former aid to Lennon said he was a Reagen supporter. said he was ashamed of his radical youth (me too) and he died a conservative.
(wow I'm having a hard time believing that!)

Yeah, and the sound is unbelievable!! Just think back to all the old black and white movies - the "rrrrrruuh---whine----clack---rrrrruuuuuh" - almost always was a flattie.

Nice pics, TT!

Need to get the bike finished, so I can get back on the truck!!

Very simple Ricoman - it's human nature. Stuff like that used to infuriate me. Now, either I'm wiser, or as Willow said, it has something to do with my testosterone levels.  Sad

I really think what it is, is 42 years of my wonderful wife drumming into to me to "just let it go"!

Best advice I've ever gotten. Now, no matter if you guys say stuff against my Valk, my HD, my Oil, Filter, BMW, politics, religion, etc.... I still love all of you, and look forward to meeting the "family" at InZane XI this year! cooldude

What used to piss me off now makes me laugh! Age ain't so bad after all. Grin

If being full of crap was reason for removal....there wouldnt be many members left.

amen to that,
from uneducated political comments, uneducated repair/service tips, to highest speed (Valk or other bikes), mpg, longest ride with absurd speed averages, intolerant opinions of others beliefs, etc., etc.
I used to think I needed boots when reading some posts, now I  think I'd be better off with waders. I often wondered if people really believe some of the crap they lay off on others. Do they say it because it sounds good to them?

Ah the flathead. I get wistful over those.

Sidevalves are actually making a comeback in trials. Low motor height + great low RPM torque makes them a good choice for that discipline.
