Since the divorce, I've been lacking in miles on the bike, in exchange for getting things done, in and around the house, not to mention putting in waaay too many hours at work...  Sleep, and maintaining the household, unfortunatly take priority over luxuries like riding...  I've been gettin' my wind in bits n pieces, these past few weeks...  And to make matters worse, it's been too damn hot to even think 'bout puttin' on jeans.

Took about an 80 miler, late yesterday...  Was kickin' back mowin' on some fresh off the grill 'Baby Backs' n Hash Browns, with my boys, when I get a call from my new lady friend, just before 7:00...  She invites me over to her sisters place, for a cocktail and some munchies, as kinda a last gasp on the final day of her vacation...

Cleaned up the kitchen, washed the 'sauce' off my pinkies, and tossed a look at the temperature...  92.7!  7:00 friggin O'Clock, and it's still over 90 degrees!  Cage, bike?  Cage, bike?  I pondered that for a bit, and the Beast won out!

Once moving, the temps were not so bad...  It's about 40 miles to my destination, and it was over in the blink of an eye...  Once I pulled up n peeled off the gloves n helmet, I was handed a tall glass filled with ice, vodka, n lemonaide...  Perfect answer to a dry throat, and soggy drawers Cheesy

Sat n yaked, and tossed the tennis ball for the resident 'lab' (if only to keep him from 'licking' me, and slobbering all over me  uglystupid2 ) , till the bugs started bitin', and decided it was time to roll back home around 9:30 (6:00 am is way early, especially on Mondays)...

My wind screen looks like I drove through a 'May Fly' hatch...  Bugguts top to bottom, but it had cooled off enough to make the return 40 miles very pleasent!

Bits n pieces...  Mental floss was not the reason for this ride...  This ol' Dawg is keepin' the nasty thoughts at bay as of late...  Life is lookin' up  Wink Grab the miles when ya can  cooldude

See ya all at InZane!

Just when the highway straightened out for a mile
And I was thinkin' I'd just cruise for a while
A fork in the road brought a new episode
Don't you know...

Conform, go crazy, or ride a motorcycle...
