Why?????

Because he's got a sense of humor about himself?

Yea, I like that one.

How about when personalized plates first came out.

Hoofartd   and fcknxn.  I saw both of those in Calif at Humblodt State College when we lived in Arcata and hubby was going to school there.

Perhaps some Vette drivers do have sense of humour after all.

This one, I have a certain feeling he might, just might be a fellow Finn......  Cool

Mine just says ANVIL. I thought about using BCN8R but figured people wouldn't get the joke and might just rear-end me trying to figure it out.

Two stories - saw a great looking (probably showgirl) in Vegas, with a full-dresser HD, in shorts and well-filled bikini top - license plate? PNSNV

Also had a buddy buy a BROWN 4X4 truck in So. Cal. Rusted completely through, but cheap. Until he replaced EVERYthing but the body, for around $12,000. Could have almost bought a new one for that. Was going to get a plate that said "BROWNHO", but we pointed out that a large part of the male population in So. Cal. might follow him around. He didn't do it.

My custom plates said "RCAV8OR", which is, of course, Remote Controlled Aviator - fly 1/4 scale model airplanes...

A year or two ago the local news tried to inflate a story about how they were no longer going to issue license plates that started with the alpha coded WTF because someone in our legislature figured out that on the internet that stood for something risque and complained. NC says it won't print "vulgar" vanity plates, so they also stopped the WTF. If anyone was bothered by their current license plate then they could opt to turn it in for a non-vulgar plate. I now find it even funnier when the plates are funny and clever enough to get by the risque inspectors. I find it funny that we have risque inspectors.

MGM's plate is '1BFMC'

deciphered, one Big Friendly motorcycle club.

That is what DOT thinks it is.

We all know what it really means.

I went for BFMC, and it was taken, she said want to add a 1 on the back, I said no, add it on the front.     Presto.

Oh yeah, it is a Purple Heart plate also.
