My Mom passed away last night Cry. She had Alzheimer's and I think she just got tired. She wanted to be with my Dad, who passed away twenty-two years ago today and my younger brother, who died two years ago this coming August 7th. To top it all off, I had to take my wife to the hospital Sunday evening and she was admitted for a flare-up of diverticulitis (fortunately it is mild and she will probably be discharged today).

Any good thoughts or prayers you could direct our way would be greatly appreciated.

Bama Red, My good friend, God will support you and your family in this time of sorrow.  He will heal your wife and make her whole.  He will be your strength when you are at your weakest.  My prayers are with you and your family.  Call me if you need anything.

Bama Red, I'm not religious in a 'praying' sort of way, but my thoughts are truly with both of you. I'm 58 and lost my mother to a brain aneurism when she was 49. Treasure always the time you had with her and especially her golden years. When she appears in your thoughts as a vital, younger woman, you've started the mending process.  Peace.

Prayers coming to all of you from Mid-Michigan.  My Mom has Alzheimers, stage 4 to 5.  Its a sad thing to watch happen to a loved one.  But I know what you mean, my Mom is getting to the tired stage and I'm aware of whats to come.  Take Care.
