I just installed my 2 inch headlight extender from Daryl at XF6 and also swapped out the headlight for an Adjure Iron Cross light.  I love the look of the extender.  Really cleans up the front of looking too jammed in.

Great lookin' Valk!
 cooldude
I am not familiar w/your source for this item.
Could you lead me to it?
 Embarrassed
Also, I see the curved bar attached on the sides...
is that the extender or is it the windshield mount?
 ???
THANKS!

the curved bar you see is actually part of the original headlight support. when the headlight was in the original position the ends of the bar attached to the turn signal mounts.

Yep, tank got it.  Been debating what to do with that ugly bar.  Eventually I will.  Daryl at XF6 is also who I got my 6 degree rake kit from for my bike.  Best mod yet.

Hey Steelers, bike looks sick.  Can I ask why the 6 degree rake kit was your favorite mod?  Was it the look or did it help with handling?  I think 2 bros used to make an offset triple clamp that was supposed to be amazing for feedback and handling.

Hey Andy, Thanks.  All of the above.  The look of the bike with the raked front end, the look of the triple clamps since they are smooth on top now with no forks sticking up and the way lighter handling.  I highly recommend them.
Here was a thread I posted after my install.

Heres a before and after shot.

Hey BF,
Yes, Cobra pipes I cut down 12 inches and NO baffles.  They sound deeper than standard Cobras.
I was in Destin, FL in May.  Really beautiful down there.  Coming down again after the summer.

That small fender (VTX?) works well with the increased rake.

STEELERS.......

You're picking the best time(s) to be here.  Right now, it's boilin' evil hot.   Evil  Thunder Beach is sometime in September (I think).  It's a fairly short ride over to Panama City.  They have a web site with dates and venues.

btw.....I'm still curious about your pipes.  Do you ever ride with a full or 3/4 helmet with those pipes?  Any drone with 'em?

I mostly ride with a half helmet, sometimes 3/4, when its real cold a full face but rare.  No drone, I love listening to the sound.  If you like the way muscle cars sound, you'll like them cut down like this.

Err... OK; so back to the subject of XF6 Headlight Extender Installation... Undecided   Roll Eyes

I just received my headlight extender... a beautiful piece on its own right... might buy another one for a paper weight... Oops, no!
I already did that with the Torpedo Bullets! Embarrassed

Anyways... the Headlight Extender is the easiest install I've done on the Valk... 10 minutes flat! And it looks great... Smiley

Rude Dog...
But what did you do about that ugly coat-hanger-lookin' thing behind the headlight assembly?
The one that now glares at you like never before? tickedoff Angry Shocked
I'm thinking to brake it off unless somebody saves me from myself! uglystupid2 Cheesy crazy2

If in New Hampshire one must “live free or die,”
one wonders, are there any prisons in NH or just more Cemeteries?
