I'm sorry to say that my lady has been sitting in the garage with a carb rebuild in process for weeks.  Too little time in my schedule has been killing me.  Now to my question:
In following Redeye Tech's directions for testing the Air Cut Valve (or Air Cut Off Valve depending on where you read), I'm finding one that tests bad.  Apparently applying a vacuum to the valve's nipple is supposed to stop air flow through the other two holes.
Does this sound right?  For testing?
I see that this part is $50 on HDL parts.  Ouch.  I'm only on my second carb, so hopefully I won't need too many of these babies!

Thanks - Al

fordmano would be able to answer this, he just went through it on his multi point post.

The price was right also, $47.xx he posted, each! and there are 6 of them.

I answered your PM then I saw this thread and went back and corrected the price I quoted you on the air cut valves I could not remember the actual price, POOR memory is one of my downfalls, sorry about that.

Check out this thread for other ideas or just some DAMN fine picture taking skills of lots of the Valkyrie's pieces and parts.  2funny crazy2 If I do say so myself! Cheesy Grin
