Here's the 2002 Valk I just bought yesterday with 3,046 miles...TOTAL

Okay, so that worked, here's some more.

And the 2003 Vic I'm riding now...50K on her

And the 2007 650 V-Star I traded for a boat for my son...6K miles

Hope these come out okay. Valk is going to be setup for long term rides and trailer pulling.

That is no where near proper mileage for a Valk. Those numbers are too low for safety....Better fix that A.S.A.P !

I just noticed the red plastic milk crate in V-Star pic. Guess that has to go on the back of the Valk. Grin Wink

The Valk was owned by two owners, both actually older than me ( I'm 67 ), and last owner stored most of the time as his wife was sick, then he ended up on oxygen. Will do necessary long term maintenance on an older bike and get tires, since I don't trust 10 year old tires no matter how good they look. The 6 into 6 is louder than I like but man...sounds like an Indy car at idle. cooldude

The bike is spotless and was stored in climate controlled storage for years, ridden about once a year. Seems to be fine and no carb troubles. Starts and runs out like a champ. I thought my Vic punched out to Stage II was strong, but my gosh Cheesy. It will need bags and luggage rack and trailer hitch before it becomes our road machine, so Branson next weekend will be on the Vic. I'm in no hurry and will do a lot of shopping for parts, and a new seat is usually mandatory and Mustang has always been our first choice of seating on several bikes we've had over years.

good recommendation.  I had the 3 piece mustang with rider's backrest for 9 years before trying the Ultimate king boy seat at Americade in 2009.  Shipped the mustang home and rode the new Ultimate.

Much better seat for comfort, although the mustang still looked new after all those years.  Better rider position (sitting in seat as opposed to sitting on seat) and no sliding around under hard braking.  The mustang seemed to pitch the rider forward, at least for me.

Congrats...
