And the 2002 Valk I just bought has 3,046 miles on it. The difference is mine was old by a couple of guys older than me, the last one got sick and just left it stored hoping for better days that never came.
The miles on the Harlye were probably all weekend miles put on going down to the local shop for a hot dog and maybe a few sponsored rides. If that's all you rode you are a crash looking for a place to happen. Only seat time gives us the time to progress up the learning curve of bikes versus cages.
And yes, I can spell Harley most of the time.
