Well actually Hale Town, Tennessee, near Pikeville. Other side of Chattanooga.

Almost missed it, my guides today said it's on the other side of the bridge.

Where we stopped.

Same spot parked, that's Smooth Rider, he was smooth today, tell you about that later.

Coolest Good Luck Gremlin Bell I have ever had, only gives half the luck, cause I bought it myself. Deal's Gap Special Dragon Bell.

We got our daily dose of Nuclear Radiation Today, these are the cooling towers for the Watts Bar Nuke Reactor, TVA Owned and Operated.

As far as you know, I don't think we are supposed to take a pic of these.

With all these warnings I would leave the boat on the trailer and go somewhere else.

This is why Smooth Rider had to be smooth on the way home, I went on ahead and called back in case they needed my cycle trailer before he could get home.

This completely got misunderstood as they thought I just left them behind. We got that straight and all was cool.

They made it back , Gordon and Greg. The last time it was Gordon with a slick rear tire.

Here is the Money Shot of My Interstate as Smokin Joe does on his posts, he was at work today, that means out of town as you all know.

This is what we live for, a group of signs like these we saw today.

This is better shot of the bike, but a boat got in the way.

Seem to go to Hell every week or so. That is Hell, MI.
Just got back shortly, went to the "Dam Site Inn" for an iced tea and a bowl of their "Infernal Chili".

Hell MI and the Dam Site Inn is a true biker bar hangout in every sense of the word.

Our ABATE chapter held a bike blessing their last month and ABATE OF MI also held their annual field meet there too!

Hell, Michigan, sounds like a cool place.

As for the Dam Site Inn.

I just wish it was damn site closer.

Thanks

Apparently Hell Hole Road near Pikeville Tennessee is for sale,

So you can buy property in Hell.

That is weird.

and narration too.  We are planning on going back to Maggie Valley this coming Friday.  I know Joe and some of the Wild Bunch are going to the VOAI rally.  We will probably stop by the motel Sat.  Maybe we can hook up for a ride, we plan on being there for about 10 days.

I will tag along if I don't have to work Over Time that particualr day.

So it's to Haletown and Back

That makes more sense cause I really never  saw a sign.

Just taking Gordon and Wimps direction on this.

Oh what the Hale.

Haletown is an unincorporated community in Marion County, Tennessee, United States. It is probably best known as the former location of Hales Bar Dam, a major hydroelectric project of the former Tennessee Electric Power Company completed in 1913 which was later purchased by the Tennessee Valley Authority and operated by it until its replacement by Nickajack Dam, slightly downstream, in the 1960s, after which Hales Bar Dam was partially demolished; the remaining portion still exists near Haletown.

Haletown consists of only a few businesses and residences. The Marion Memorial Bridge carries U.S. Highway 41 over the Tennessee River at Haletown, but it has lost most of its traffic to the nearby Interstate 24 bridge.

Haletown is neither a municipality or a census-designated place, and no formal boundaries for the community exist, so no population figures are available. The community is part of the Chattanooga, TN–GA Metropolitan Statistical Area.
