Screw OEM.  I just installed Silverstar Ultra 9003/H-4s in my I/S.  You have to remove two of the tabs cause they don't match up with the OEMs.  Compare them and you'll see.  The SS Ultras are 55 watt low beam, 65 watt high beam where the OEMs are 45/45 watts.  Lot brighter and better lights.

Yep SS/ultras are a fine choice probably about the best choice for the price.
Two other options are PIAA Xtreme white bulbs I ran those and WOW!!! Incredible but also pricey.
I just upgraded to HID for my Headlights and my Fog/Pod lights I really like them set me back around $90ish almost and was some work getting them installed but I am glad I did it so far. I have only had them in for a little over a month now so life SPAN is still to be determined. I went with the 35watt 6000K color/temp range slight blue tint if these go out I will probably change to the 35watt 5000K color/temp range more pure white light...

Again the SS/Ultras are probably the best bang for the buck for simple lighting upgrade...

I've looked at HIDs but didn't like they could only replace one beam, low or high but not both.

Not true, the set I installed on my I/S have high and low beams it is funny how the filament actually moves inside the bulb. The Pod lights are low beam only and the bulbs are a bit long for the little reflector inside the housing but does not seem to be balroblem yet..

my experience is,l the ultras are much brighter and better than oem, but, don't seem to last as long.

to me it's an ok trade off for better visibility.

my 2 cents

Send me a link.  I can only find the single beam ones.
