I went to Georgetown Honda yesterday with a friend on his new to him mid '90's Gold Wing and they were closed. The sign on the door said they had moved to Central Texas Powersports, the Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Can-Am, etc dealer. I don't know what the employees will do, Central TX looks like it's fully staffed already.

Dealers like saying that "they've moved", when in reality, they closed down. They're just trying to give the customer the feeling of continuity. Two Ford dealerships have "moved" in the last 5 years around here. The first one "moved" to an existing dealership, which then "moved" into a third.
They just closed down. I hate it when people assume I'm gullible. Even for something as benign as that.

They could have sold (moved) some inventory to the other dealer. My favorite shop closed in January, leaving 3 good mechanics on unemployment. Bad for bikers and bad for America.

WOW! Sorry to hear that. I've dealt with them for years. They had better prices than Woods Fun Center.

Several of their employees went over to the other dealer, including "Sean", a really helpful parts person. I saw a lot of their Honda inventory over there as well.

The service manager at Al Lamb's Dallas Honda told me yesterday that it's been purchased by the Yamaha / Suzuki dealer friend of his.
