Only other thing on my schedule is the gun show over at Freeman this weekend (23rd and 24th).  The soapbox and ballot box seem to have failed us, so I'm gonna replenish/augment the ammo box a bit.  That'll probably happen Saturday, so Sunday would work best as far as a ride.

Uh-oh!  Roll Eyes

My temporary ability to participate in Sunday morning rides will be ending in a few short weeks when the church choir's vacation period ends.  Hope to make one of the breakfast runs to Blanco again soon: those pancakes gotta be seen to be believed.  Bluebonnets-n-bacon minus the bluebonnets is also a possibility: in case you haven't picked up on the obvious, I tend to remember places I've been by their restaurants and/or watering holes.

Speaking of bacon, "Western Omelette" in Colorado Springs (actually old Colorado City) is well worth a stop.  Their breakfast burrito smothered in habenero-infused green chili is a serious butt-burner, and I'd kill for their bacon...  Thick-sliced, and cooked to perfection, i.e., doesn't clank on the plate.

Here in San Antonio, "Good Time Charlie's" has a bacon-cheddar salad that's a worthy meal.  Never seen so much bacon on a salad: almost like the lettuce is an afterthought.
