Thanks. I've let my friend know what his options are.

Now it's up to him.

When i bought my ST1300 Laser Pat went to take a look at the bike (he lived nearby).

Texas Ranger offered to go ride it home to Dallas for me (about a 300 mile round trip). I said sure. He then met me at Dallas airport. Took me to his house for the night and then I rode my bike home to Atlanta.
