Just got back from four days in the Rockies
It was cold going over the passes, but couldn't think of a better way to beat the heat of summer.

The bike preformed perfectly powering up these mountain roads at low RMPs, giving me 44-48 MPG on these scenic back-roads.
We started out early each morning, arriving at our detestation before the afternoon thunderstorms. Sightseeing in old ghost towns in a rain suit beats riding in a down pour any-day.

It's hard to express in words how much I enjoyed riding in the Rockies, however if your reading this you probably own a Valkyrie and have had similar experiences.  So you understand.

48mpg is a tad hard to comprehend for a Valkyrie at higher altitude, but Im glad she ran good for ya

Got a low of 28 MPG heading home on an open stretch doing 85-90, with a little head wind.

Have ridden the Rockies in the car with my wife and on the I/S, who gives a S''''''t about gas mileage when you're in Colorado.

If you are riding  and it is a must that you keep your eyes on the road, you are riding too fast.
