Sure looked like he was 'leaning' the nickle against other parts of the engine.

Ya... that nickel is not standing on edge... it's leaning against engine.  He might as well glued it there. crazy2 uglystupid2

Don't know if it's leaning on the engine, but the first video where it stands up never accelerates..........that's at idle

Watch it on youtube and read the comments. I posted under the
handle "mudbob3". Looks fake to me! If you're in doubt, next time
you're close to a harley see if it vibrates at idle. I've NEVER seen
one that didn't!! (not saying they don't exist, just that I've never
witnessed it) cooldude

FYI, the new style nickels don't work!  A fellow Valk rider -- named Eddy and not part of the VRCC -- stopped me before I embarrassed myself trying to show off.  Luckily, I had an old style nickel in my pocket and the "trick" resumed with good results. Smiley

Eddy, who rides a nice bumble bee -- thinks the new style nickels are not balanced right. ???

I love my Road Glide, but it sure as heck is not going to pass the Nickle test. At idle is when is shakes like a paint mixer. As the RPMs increase, it gets a lot smoother, but I still don't think for a moment that Nickel will stand there. Hey, I'm just sayin'. ???

On the other hand, my Fat Lady is SMOOOOOTH! cooldude

The key thing is to wake up breathing! All the rest can be fixed. (Except Stupid - You can't fix that)
