A new front tire, new rear bearings, rebuilt rear brake caliper, new pads.  Checking all the lights, controls.  But still fiddling with the running lights mounted on the engine guards.  The left one just doesn't want to burn.  Will check the wire, bulb and connections again and will replace the darn things if they continue to give problems.  Meeting the gang Monday morning at the I-75 Clinton Hardys and we will be on our way shortly thereafter.  Looking forward to seeing some different scenery; although I never tire of the roads here in Tennessee.  We will see everyone soon!

Spirited-6,
At 64 years of age, I doubt that I am your son but probably just act like him! A bike is like an airplane.  It will give you good reliable service if you keep up with the service and make sure everything is operational before you ride or fly.  Having problems enroute could be very costly, not to mention, down right dangerous riding or flying.  That and the fact that I'm anal, tend to serve me well.

Dubs, I was kidding you for waiting too long to do the things to your Valk. I don`t think you saw it that way, sorry.  Embarrassed
And you could be my son if I had you at 12.  Grin
